Christmas Gathering Friday 20^th December 2024

Well, our celebrations on the Peaks and Plains car park on Robin Lane, went extremely well despite the cold.  Several members of Over Alderley brass band were in attendance to play festive tunes, whilst Matt from the coffee plant kept everyone warm with his mulled wine and Tanya from Parvey Garden, supplied her delicious curries and other culinary delights.   

This set the scene for Santa’s attendance who with Kerry the elf delighted over 30 children with their tales of Christmas magic.

Warm doggie coats were on sale by Sleepwalkies to keep our canine friends warm while volunteers had a raffle and tombola stalls which were a big success.  Many thanks to all the residents who  donated and local businesses who supported our event.  These include; Sutton Hall, MH valeting, Wild Luna Wellness, Danielle Barlow makeup, Fred’s café, Factory carpet and beds, Tesco, Sleepwalkies, Sutton Parish Council and Sutton Stores.

Not forgetting all the volunteers who made this evening possible with all their hard work putting everything together.
